In that case I think he could still go with Blur as a 'festival exclusive' as Live in London wouldn't technically be a festival, and would they even be headlining that? MCR did the Radio One Big Weekend last year, yet they were still apparently an 'exclusive headliner' at R+L.

I don't see them playing two big outdoor events, so close together time & distance wise. Blur fans would just buy the London tickets out of travel convenience, cost & perhaps even having somewhere to stay after (though I imagine hotel prices around then will be ridiculous).

This is a moot argument because Oasis turned out to be the bigger band, whether Blur or Oasis were better is frankly ridiculous because Oasis took Blur to the cleaners, but it just shows that Beady Eye are touring academys and Noel Gallagher is selling out arenas in minutes who was the talent in Oasis

What a fucking stupid argument, and Katy Perry and Justin Bieber are selling even more, it doesn't mean ANYTHING in terms of talent, Blur are a way more interesting band than Oasis are, and going beyond that, what an amazing act Gorillaz are, you can't say Beady Eye or Noel Gallaghers birds in the sky (lol) are as good as Gorillaz? They just did what they know, play simple chords and TRY and create a catchy chavvy melody - pathetic.

I think you misunderstood what i was saying, my argument was agreeing that Liam Gallagher was a poorer singer and by saying Noel Gallagher was selling out arenas even though he wasnt the front man of Oasis it is obvious he was the better talent, my only argument against Blur was that they turned out to be less popular than Oasis so in the end it didnt really matter who was better or not, each have their own fans
