I thought this bit was interesting....

The market that Reading and Leeds is aiming at is very much the market that has been hit by the government cuts on student loans, youth unemployment and so on, but we have a great little line-up and I'm confident that both of them will sell out.

Is it possible he's got 2 definite headliners and then one, such as Bloc Party, which may headline unless he gets someone else? I'm not an expert on festival organising so I don't know if that could be true or not :L

Oh, fair enough, I just thought he meant he had 2 or 3 booked, but fair play. It is a bit odd.

I'm glad they're doing this. I'm probably not going next year but It's a great idea to get people to the fest. Alot of fests do thye same, I've already paid my Rockness and Bestival tickets off in installments and evn Glastonbury lets you pay it up. £200 is alot to pay in one go so a payment plan will bring in alot of people who may not have the whole lot at once.

I think its a great idea, I'm in uni and probably couldn't afford the ticket all in one, so i will take advantage of this scheme.

Deposits are a great idea, got my tickets for Rock Ness last year that way and it makes it much more affordable
