2rare2die
Biffy subbing as special guests to Metallica by the sounds of it, so maybe Tenacious D will headline second stage?
t8yman
couldnt give a fuck if tenacious d are playing in the car park, they were shite when they were "big", why people are pleased about them being announced is a mystery to me. the_hedge
Biffy supporting Metallica!! Never saw that coming, that's 2 headliners in 1 night and along with Soundgarden thats a hell of an announcment.....
biffoire
Because they're awesome to singalong to when pissed off your head.
kaosmark2
Saw them at leeds and it was embarassing how bad they were. It' didn't qualify as either a music support or a comedy support and failed at both. I've seen better pantomimes. (Oh no you haven't!! )
t8yman
Fair enough. I've never seen them live and wouldn't bother making the effort for their own gig. But they're helping me drag friends who are usually half-arsed along, and I'll chill out with some beers before then enjoy a singalong. At least, unless they're completely dire. biffoire
Trubute was ok. But I didn't think they were worthy of supporting metallica. Some people loved it. Just I didn't. Was also pissed that Slipknot pulled out.

thejimbola
Did Soundgarden just blow the next Download announcement? Machine Head, Anthrax, Trivium, Lamb of God, Devin Townsend, DevilDriver, Little Angels, Ugly Kid Joe, August Burns Red...
kaosmark2
I took it from your rather assured post earlier that you had seen them live, I have, and they are indeed a bad joke. a little clue as to how "awesome" they are going to be. Imagine a "band" spinning out an hour or so's set for 2 or 3 songs that people know. Thats howe "awesome" tenacious d are. if you enjoy it, I'm pleased for ya. kipper64
I'm torn by this, love Biffy, but bit disappointed to see them take a step backwards to sub festivals, they deserve to headline. Soundgarden is an awesome booking and I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up headlining seeing as sabbath are possibly not going to play, but they rest? Inc what Soundgarden leaked is a massive meh, just the usual fodder that plays every couple of years. As it stands I'll day ticket the sabbath day.
