One year when I was desperately trying for coach tickets in the resale, I was literally prepared to go from anywhere. I had it all worked out. I would go away with my husband for a long weekend to wherever the departure point was, driving up on the Saturday. We would have a few days wherever in the country we were (there's always things to do, pubs to visit in any town or city) and he would drive home on Tuesday night leaving me to get the coach on Wednesday as he doesn't do festivals.
Of course I worked this all out in my head without actually telling my husband and I didn't get coach tickets but got a ticket in the general resale.
Was my last chance for a free child ticket for my 12 year old! Oh well ..she's lucky to have been to 3.
I just can't imagine ever getting a ticket again after 2 bar hell.
I've got bearded theory now instead.
like I said, coachella onsales had its exploits using the same system before fixes happened and became a sorta non issue with demand anyway. Anyone thinking this made it more even of a playing field is lying to themselves. SEE wont ever catch up to the ticketmaster and axs' of the world when it comes to security. You get what you pay for. We now have our new archaic system that the few will figure out and thatll be that. Even if it was a ballot theres no way it wont be exploited. You think fake profiles wont exist or something? And obviously people will pay a bot syndicate to get tickets now. Its over.
I'm not sure if they've played together both but I know Simon was on a Frank Turner track, I met Frank once who said he seen Biffy play in a bar in front of 6 or 7 people so I know they've known each other for years
