Hi guys, does anyone know the best way to get to the football stadium from the airport or is there a shuttle from the airport to the festival. We are arriving around 1pm on the Thursday and obviously want to get to the camp site as quick as we can so if any BBK veterans know the best way would love to hear from you.

All booked, surprised myself with this and Sziget really. Unbelievable value though. Decided to take in the sights of Madrid for a couple of days, head to Bilbao from Wednesday through till Monday then head home!

Radiohead, Snow Patrol, Cure, Ben Howard, Bloc Party all made this one not to miss.

To BBK veterans

Are there any restrictions regarding food and drink being brought into the campsite? I know the usual stuff about no glass bottles that you get at every festival, but do they have any problems with people bringing in food or beer cans? Planning on going to a supermarket near the shuttle in the morning before to stock up on provisions for the weekend.

Newbie here! I'm off to BBK Live too, with one of my friends. We fly into Bilbao on Tuesday morning from Manchester, night in a hostel, then onto the festival :) Glad to find some other British/English speakers going too, had a right paranoid moment that we'd be the only ones!!

Funny how it is cheaper to drive, park and fly easyjet, stay b and b, go to a festival then spend a further few days camping, flying back, driving back than go to Glastonbury! Even funnier... I live in Glastonbury!!!!!

However, after that little food for thought, my question is about camping equipment. We arent allowed tent pegs or small gas canisters with easyjet, so I wondered if anyone knows whether there will be camping stalls with these things or a good camping equipment shop in Bilbao? If so, any addresses?

Flying out on Tuesday 10th from Stanstead, so looking forward to meeting fellow festival revellers!

Anybody flying from stanstead on the 11th?

I'm up for camping or meeting with other Brits, would it be worth setting up

A Facebook group for this?

According to the people at Bilbao uk twitter you can take your drinks to the campsite. hoping for a supermarket near by.

Hi,

Myself and two friends are going to BBk this year, travelling from Stansted on Wednesday evening. Went in 2010 and the line-up was absolutely immense! It was the best festival I'd ever been to but this year's bill is a real disappointment to me. Far too much Indie twee for my liking but we'd purchased the tickets before the announcements.

Regardless, we intend to have a good time.

Point to note; we found a spot with shade last year which helps but unfortunately it was on a hill. Effectively trying to sleep standing up is most difficult. Often woke up in a crumpled ball at the bottom of the tent - but hey; who needs sleep.

I would double check this info as I have flown with easyjet with a tent before and pegs etc are okay as long as they are in Hold luggage?

I also have an email from them confirming this. ? worried now!

Were flying first thing on the 11th
