Something thats cheaper than the other stands would be great.

I was standing at the football today and was thinking that a stand with these cups of bovril would be brilliant! could also do soup, teas, coffees etc I suppose! pastries as well would be good sausage rolls pies etc! anything over £2 for a bovril and you will safely not get my business :)

maybe good if it was cold, not so good if it is 25 degrees

Not my cup of tea, but I'm sure there would be a demand! there are a few very good home made food stands that have been reasonably priced. but did see a few have reasonable prices on Friday, Saturday morning then thought bugger this we are under charging then have pumped up the price by another £2! I was arsed with that, but at the end of the day its a business and you need to make as much money as possible!

But I would say curries is a good idea and £4 would be reasonable! depending on costs of produce, man hours, cost of plot etc! no point going and making bugger all

If your doing Curry and pitta bread for £4 then I wont bring any food with me.

Everytime I eat it will be at your stand.

My names Colin. Remember this face. Your going to see it loads.

Gothenburg is right don't make up your prices before you work out how much its going to cost you.

Once you factor in pitch, diesel, staff, ingredients, condiments, paper cups, napkins, paper plates and all the other gumf you might find that £4 is a bit cheap.

Getting a good plot is valuable, at a festival I go to every year that holds around 2000 people, there was a thai food guy who served the greatest thai ommlette and toast for something like £1.50. his food was awesome and he was the cheapest on site, in the end he had to resort to selling cans and tea around the campsite on monday morning (and you can't do that at rockness) to make some real dough.

Don't want to put you off, just want to give you an idea of what to expect.

At the end of the day I hate the sight of a burger van. So will encourage anything that isn't one of them, especially one that charges £2 for a can of Irn Bru and £2 for a roll and tattie scone (one slice of tattie scone)

Please do a few vegetarian options.. there isn't much choice at Rockness for vegetarians. There was a nice wee vegetarian/vegan stall the year before last but I failed to find it last year (probably most to do with intoxication) but to be honest they did not really have much of a choice and the amount of food you got for your money was pretty poor..

I will definitely be visiting your stall if you are going to be selling a vege curry and pita for £4!

Good luck :)
