VCK
I thought Leeds Friday/Reading Saturday in 2010 looked pretty amazing, with Arcade Fire, The Libertines and The Gaslight Anthem all playing, three of the best bands of the past decade IMO. The Manics day in 2001 looked a beast too, as it had the Manics, Supergrass, Feeder, Rancid and Frank Black. Likewise The Strokes playing the same day in 2002 as Pulp and Weezer was quite Godly looking. Then going further back, the Saturday at Reading in 1994 with Pulp, Radiohead and Manics back to back looks breathtaking, with Primal Scream headlining later. The Saturday in 1992 had Public Enemy headline and the Manics and the Pumpkins shared the bill, a dream for me! Sunday that year was quite good too, Nirvana, Pavement and the Beasties. The Pulp/Strokes double bill last year made the Sunday at Leeds look the best day out of the three. If the Manics played 3rd under RATM and QOTSA in 2008 that would have probably won the accolade for me What do you think?

Bisque
For the amount of bands I like... Saturday 2010 for me: Pendulum Enter Shikari Dizzee Rascal Mystery Jets The Futureheads Reading's more than just music to me (drinking & socialising) so I don't mind if there aren't that many bands to see in a day as long as there's a decent band to round the night off before heading back to camp. BTK1609
My best day at a festival was the Friday at Reading 2000. Oasis, Primal Scream, Foo Figters and Limp Bizkit (the latter are a bit of a guilty pleasure). The Sunday was not bad either just for Rage and the Phonics although Blink were the most disappointing live act I have ever seen.
rfc_478
In terms of the most fun I've had in one day at Reading it would definitely be Saturday 2010 - Futureheads, Mystery Jets, Gaslight Anthem, Maccabees, Cribs, Libertines & Arcade Fire. Didn't move from the main stage all day which is rare for me!
VCK
Ah yeah, the Oasis day in 2000 deserves a mention. Oasis Primal Scream Foo Fighters In that order. The whole line-up that year was stellar to be honest.

Sarge009
My favourite ever was the Arcade Fire/Libertines day in 2010, but I think the Reading Saturday in 04 looked amazing - The White Stripes, Morrissey and The Libertines back-to-back. Declan
Friday 1991 Babes in Toyland. Nirvana play mid afternoon and go from grunge also-rans to band on brink of superstardom in an afternoon. Chapterhouse a good band on the rise playing their home town have follow and suddenly seem old hat. Then Dinosaur Jnr, PWEI, Sonic Youth and Iggy headlining. And that's just the mainstage. 5co77ie
The day The Jam did a Who and smashed their kit up on stage, and I spent the whole set dancing on the roof of a car, and Sham 69 played, and Tom Robinson came out days later and told everyone it was a really naughty thing to do and started to cry! The Jam Automatics Losers New Hearts Penetration Pirates Radio Stars Sham 69 Ultravox 1978 had a decent line-up Spirit, and Status Quo played the next day, and Foreigner, After The Fire, Patti Smith, John Otway, and Squeeze played on Sunday (but i don't remember any of sunday.
