hello there,

a playlist for 2012, with a song from each of the bands I know to be playing. I think these songs are ace, and i thank EOTR for making it easy, by giving us yet another bill full of lovely stuff, already.

there is a playlist for 2011 knocking around too, which can be found pretty easily..drop me a mail if you want a link though.

nb. in reference to a few other posts going on - I've no idea if any of the acts are Scientologists or not... : )

Cortezuk First Aid Kit are a must, they are even better live, have seen them 3 times and they just keep getting better...are they on the Garden Stage?

2 more added to my list of 'must-see' acts - Alt-J (wow why aren't they headlining second stages at bigger festivals?) and Lanterns on The Lake (fellow North Easteners)! Have to stop listening to this playlist before my clashes become unbearable! Oo just heard Richard Buckner too! Stop it, stop it!

I managed to miss Lanterns On The Lake at both EOTR 2011 and when they supported Low at the Royal Festival Hall earlier this year. Third time lucky, I hope, as the album is excellent... as is Alt-J's "An Awesome Wave", which has to be my favourite album of the last few years (thank you for the introduction, EOTR). I only wish they'd been playing a little higher up the bill.
