Sorry if this is a nooby question and has already been answered, I got so many festivals to think of they're all getting rather mixed up!

Do we know who is headlining so far? Who are the "biggest" names that have been announced as of today? (: Thanks!

Could Bloc Party play? no UK dates announced yet, or UK festivals - they've ruled out Reading themselves so that surely just leaves Bestival left for a summer festival date?

I hope so, I love the band, remind me of growing up and school days plus their Glasto set in 2009 was epic! but then I'm sure there's a lot who dislike them!

How on earth are Bloc Party not big enough to headline? They've subbed at Reading three times and have headlined the Other Stage at Glastonbury. I'm not a huge fan but to say they're not big enough is laughable.

The fact they've been away makes them even more likely to be a headline act, book them on an exclusive and it's a pretty big deal. As for Kele not being with them, that was all bullshit drummed up by the NME. As I said in my last post I'm not a huge fan but to call them Indie Landfill is doing them a disservice, they're certainly no Kings Of Leon or Kasabian.

Basically what your saying is Bloc Party shouldn't headline because you don't like them.

Definitely big enough, if their return gets hyped up enough then I reckon they could sell out an arena or two. Would be better than the usual Friday act (Pendulum, Dizzee Rascal), doubt they'd be able to pull off Sunday, especially after Sigur Ros.

They would flow nicely after The XX, like any indie/dance band would.

I would say at this point in time Bloc Party are bigger than Franz. Franz reached greater hights but their popularity has dipped whereas Bloc Party's keeps rising even if it is only gradually. I'd still love to see Franz play, cracking live act.
