Gutted, there London show sold out in under a minuite, need them to play Reading now!

Yeah, tried yesterday in the presale and again this morning, got so far as entering my details into seetickets and stargreen just to be told that it had sold out while entering my details, gutted, doubt i'll get many chances to see them in an intimate venue.

Hope they tour they play Reading and tour the UK in autumn like 2010.

Wonder where in london they would play on a tour. They pretty much sold out the Hammersmith Apollo, yet i don't think they're big enough to play Wembley Arena.

Either way, really looking forward to the new album. Everything Fallon touches is gold.

This. The slot does them no justice. Surely if The Vaccines and especially Bombay Bicycle Club can play 3rd then Gaslight should be higher, 4th or 5th.

Still, better than not getting them at all. One of the few positives to take from this disappointment of a line-up.

This does kinda make me think "pulling double duty". that low on main would make them a perfect placement for sub-headliner of the Lock-up

I think its difficult to judge a bands position in a festival on the basis of demand for their own tours. I suspect that gaslight anthem may have a hardocre fanbase similar to bbc and vaccines, however most of the people watching bands on mainstage are not hardcore fans and are far more likely to have come across the other 2 bands.

Any listened to Horrible Crowes? Its Brian Fallon and his guitar tech, Ian Perkins. Album/songs are like a stripped down version of Gaslight Anthem. They are slow burning songs. I love the album they released

I listened to The '59 Sound (album) today, and it was the first time I'd listened to a Gaslight album fully. I think it's brilliant, but I can't see them at Leeds due to the Tribes clash. Urgh.

Go see Tribes. Enjoyable live act. Gaslight don't seem to come off well on outdoor stages (boring as sin), but have heard good things of them in the NME/Lock-Up. Tribes will be good in their placing.
