Green Day or The Cure ?

Gotta go with The Cure, never seen them but have seen Green day a few times over the years. While Green day be a great headliner i would feel for the undercard.

I would easily prefer Green Day. If Green Day do play it is likely to be their only European show this summer. If you look at the Cure, it would be pretty hard to go to a major European festival this Summer and the Cure not playing.

I want Greenday, been hoping for them every year since my first in 2007 and it's never happened. Hopefully on the Sunday though. Will just get a day ticket for that day though as will be going on my own. As no chance of convincing any of my friends to go again after the shambles of 2010.

also im not so sure how accurate this thread is, why is the 3ed headliner all of a sudden between just two rumoured bands?

R just means a pretty small chance, right? couldn't it be that the third headliner is neither of them?

are the cure even big enough to headline R/L??

if Guns n Roses got the original line up back id say yes there worthy of the legends slot.

if AC/DC did it id agree they deserve it.

also if The Smiths reunited id be up in arms

but i just dont see them as a massive lengerdy band worthy of taking headline spot at R/L

legends they may not be but, Id much prefer giving Elbow a shot at it. i think there very deserving of it.

the cure have headlined glasto in the past, and probably would do so again

last time (around 5 years ago) the cure publically suggested that Glasto should book them as headliners, Glasto publically said why? you weren't very good when you did.

The Cure are not a massive draw. They would draw less people to R/L than the standard R/L headliners.

But i can't believe they'd be less than headliners, and I believe they'd be a great booking that would add immensely to the richness of the R/L line-up.
