I'm going to the fest anyways like I always do but the line up is poor this year. So far I've got Darkness, Mastodon, Enter Shikari, Frank Turner and Band of Skulls pencilled in. Any others worth a listen i.e could possibly play Download? Don't say C&S!!!

Example, David Guetta, The Vaccines, Rizzle Kicks, Frank Turner, Calvin Harris, Chase & Status.

I like the lineup, obviously been played very safe but I'd enjoy myself. I'd go if people didn't feel the need to piss everywhere and it wasn't rammed with morons.

Its the worst T in the Park line up Ive ever seen.

I went in 2002 - Oasis, Foo Fighters, Green Day, No Doubt, Jimmy Eat World, Primal Scream, Idlewild, Gomez, Dandy Warhols, Less Than Jake, Air, Chemical Brothers, Spunge, Orbital, A, Cooper Temple Clause, Sonic Youth, Hundred Reasons, Doves, The Hives, The Music and tons more

and in 2008 - Rage Against The Machine, REM, The Verve, Stereophonics, We Are Scientists, Raconteurs, Kings Of Leon, Panic At The Disco, Feeder, Interpol, The Kooks, Biffy Clyro, Aphex Twin, Chemical Brothers, Amy Winehouse, The Music, Counting Crows, Eddy Grant, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, The Blackout, The Courteeners, Goo Goo Dolls, Vampire Weekend, Pendulum, Bowling For Soup, Justice, Seasick Steve, Hot Chip and tons more

compare those with this year...

You couldn't pay me to go and it's not down to line up. It's (some of) the people that go. I mean, I've never seen anyone at download at 2pm pissed trying to piss up a strangers leg. Seriously?!!?

So for that reason and other general neddiness I stopped going.

I'm going to both. T has never really been about the music, it's just a good craic. BUT.....I have always found someone that had blown my socks off, usually by complete chance, like Jane's Addiction or the Eagles of Death Metal. Last year I saw Acoda at Download (good) and dragged all my pals to an empty tent early doors to see them at T and they were a bit pish. Looks like, so far, I've lined up the right bands to see. Hopefully they'll add a few more decent bands. I though when Soni changed dates there would be more crossover but seemingly not so far. Thanks for the input.

I wouldn't pay to see a single band on this line-up.

That said I caught some of Kaiser Chiefs set at Reading a couple of years ago, and they were surprising entertaining live, so if I found myself there for some reason I suppose I'd watch them again, and I guess I'd give Mastodon another go, but I really can't seem to get into them, despite giving it several attempts.
