Not sure if i've missed something here, but why can't a band play both festivals. They're not playing the same weekend so where is the problem. I hope that the vaccines are at V. Looking like a good weekend.

Its down to contract reasons why V and R/L dont share acts as both festivals are in direct competition with each other

Bands playing at V festival don’t' tend to play at Reading/Leeds because of a deal that the 2 festivals have as far as i understand. It's not always the case though as I’m sure that there have been some instances where a band/act have done both (Can't think of any at the mo though)

The last band to play both was Kasabian in 2004, and even then I think they were billed for V as something like K*S*B**N for a period of time to avoid them being advertised for both. The Pigeon Detectives played as part of the Thursday night entertainment at Leeds one year when they were also at V although as that isn't part of the proper line-up I guess that's OK as well.

not sure they were the last (tho I'm going from memory).

I'd have gone for Goldie Lookin' Chain or Evan Dando/Lemonheads.

Feeder got announced late 2 years ago from memory so you never know! Shame they were 1st on, was hoping for a higher slot as they are a great band!

I know there's no chance of it happening but just seen Soul II Soul and Grandmaster Flash are at Rewind Festival, would love them to do a slot at V or better still Glasto next year!
