Ah, cool. Well from what i remember, the main stage was on the plot of land to the right of the house, and the campsites kind of below and to the right of the main arena, but that's about as much help as i can give, sorry. I do remember there being a bit of a winding path as we went into the site, and i think at the top it broke off right to the house, and left to the campsites

They changed the campsites in 2002, and i think that was the year they had pooh bridge, can't remember offhand where they were in relation to the site though but i think they may have been though a wood. I do remember eating space cakes on the train journey there that year though and us losing one of our mates and our tent lol, never again. Anyway, hope you find a map, and enjoy your weekend

I was there in 2002 as well, tried to get some kip on the Sunday night because i had a long drive down to Plymouth early Monday morning but with the famous riots going on i had no chance. We camped on top of a hill and i do remember getting out and seeing what the fuss was about... Was like a scene from a war film!!! Can't believe it was 10 years ago....Seems like yesterday.

Yeah, it was a really nice walk in the (ever so rare) Leeds sunshine. ;) Like I say the "arena" seems so small, doesn't have the huge feel of Bramham.

I've always wanted to go to Bramham as well and see what it's like when the festival's not on, but apparently you have to book a time and pay a fee, although that may just be for the grounds of Bramham House. I've seen that the 770 bus goes behind where the backstage area of the Main Stage appears to be at Bramham, and looking at google maps there's no fencing or anything along that road, so maybe next week!

(I sound very sad planning a trip to a park in Leeds like it's a commando operation. )

The Olympic Torch concert in Leeds was held at Temple Newsam today. Friendly Fires played (so they're another band who have done both Bramham Park and Temple Newsam :P ). Looking at pictures on Twitter, the stage appears to be in the same place the Main Stage was for Leeds Festival. These pics may bring back some memories for the older guard on here. :)
