Call for contributing artists/performers

Summer Saturnalia is a non-profit open-air Arts and Music festival based in the beautiful Yorkshire dales. 20th - 22nd July 2012.

West Yorkshire Theatre Network and Pout Productions are joining forces to manage the arts side of the festival.

We are on the hunt for exciting performances and entertainment of ALL varieties.

Please fill in the form

http://www.summersaturnalia.com/art/application/ to register your interest in performing at this year’s festival.

Founded in 2009 by a bunch of good friends looking for an exclusive and affordable festival, with high-quality entertainment and packed full of fun. Saturnalia has a unique vibe that you just don’t find at commercial festivals and gives you an experience like nothing else.

We aim to take the best creativity in arts and entertainment from our corner of England, drawing on talent from across the UK, select a few special guests from further afield, and give guests a beautiful temporary home, for one magical long summer weekend.

Summer Saturnalia is powered by volunteers and contributors from across the creative spectrum, building on their non-profit ethos this year will see an explosion of cross discipline arts joining them. Guests can also look forward to live art, installation pieces, film, daytime activities, contemporary theatre performances, comedy, dance and many other surprises.

Summer Saturnalia’s past two events have given us and our friends some amazing memories, and they can't wait to bring the magic to even more of you in 2012.

If you think you would fit into this ethos and have something exciting to add to the field in general, our main staged arts tent, Opalia or our arts and crafts/happy yellow tent then please do get in touch. Feel free to contact us with any questions or fill out the application form as best you can.

We look forward to hearing from you!
