Sadly, plenty old enough to remember watching them on a tiny B&W screen the first time round ! ... but only cos Pink Floyd et al weren't appearing regularly on TV at the time of course

I too remember seeing the Monkees on a black and white tv. Always enjoyed their music and still do. Missed the reunion but it was not a happy one I understand. Shame :-(

They also gave Jimi Hendrix his first US tour slot when he opened for them - but he didn't go down with the screaming kids.
