Alternative to Family Camping

Family camping has sold out but wondered if there was a quiet campsite in addition to family camping?

Probably as far back as you can get and it probably wont be much further to walk than family usually is. have you been in touch with Download to see if they will expand this year as i have heard a few people on here and on FB looking for family still.

I'm liking the sound of this, does the bus run quite frequently and how many times have you used the site before?

Metalikriss and I go together (not in the biblical sense) and we've been 2 or 3 years as we usually do the day. Never bused it as we've always cabbed it (£10 in £25 out) however some lads got the bus last year and made it in ok.

Not 100% sure but think this might be the bus. http://www.kinchbus....es/skylink.aspx I know it runs late and I got the impression they were fairly regular. The bus stops outside the campsite and passes the festival site from what I'm lead to believe.

I booked us just after xmas and there were spots but reckon it fills up quick so give em a call. Good luck.

I wasn't correcting you! Just backing you up. Your stagger back route may vary of course By the time you hit the bus stop I'll be already sat outside the camper van with a night cap talking bollox to anyone who will listen
