Citylink to rockness

Good morning people,

Im just looking to hear from anyone who has used the citylink to get to rockness. Ive heard they can take longer as get stuck in traffic and such but thats surely expected?

what are pople experience using this way to get up there?

i just googled it. that seems like a good option. would you say that is the best way to get there, (bar driving myself)

Just a different bus company that do certain festivals! Always had a great laugh on the happy bus. We've always been allowed to drink and smoke on the bus and its been pretty rowdy. Perfect way to start the weekend! We've ended up camping with groups of people we've met on the bus! I think i might be slightly cheaper as well!

nah there both 30 quid. I got the mega bus before and it was fine. we couldnt smoke but we were all drinking. they let us stop for fags and that tho. think were goin happy bus this year tho.

usually get the happybus but getting a bit pissed off with them. always end up waiting hours for a bus home and last year the driver got lost on the way up there. he was just driving round in circles for ages.

whats it like getting home on the citylink? do you have to wait for ages on the monday to get a bus even tho you are booking for a set time?

From previous experience it's not too bad, I think we got our bus about 15mins later than the time booked compared to about an hour later with Happy Bus. All depends on if the bus can get into the pick up point though, sometimes there seems to be a bit of a back log and it turns into a free for all.

All in all both Happy Bus and CityLink have plus and minus points. City Link are more reliable but can be a bit of a pain about drinking on the way up etc... Happy Bus are less reliable on the way back but are more lax about having a drink/smoke on the bus and Hapy Bus also leave earlier in the morning on the way up.

the main reason i use happybus instead of citylink is because they leave earlier on the friday.

The first year we got the happybus I managed to persuade a friend that there were jugglers on the bus after she asked me what made the bus happy. Never seen anyone so gutted in my life when she found out there were no jugglers!
