Leeds? or Reading again?

Only ever been to Reading (and loved it) and, as already said higher-up, I'm always knackered after a full day's music so am ready for bed after the long walk back to White campsite and a beer or two by the campfire.

One thing that I wish they'd do is open up the Arena on Thursday - no live music needed but have the shops, bars etc open and maybe play some tunes in a couple of the tents. They do this at V and it's always a great way to kick-off the festival :D

Think Im going to Reading for the first time this year after a 4 year run at Leeds. A lot fewer in my group seem to be going to Leeds this year so thought I might give Reading a chance, especially as a big foo's/nirvana fan, think it might be an interesting year to make a good comparison

Ok, after originally starting this thread i have made my decision....

**drum roll**

Leeds it is!!!!

one question though, i would like to get early bird tickets but the national express coaches only run to the festival from the thursday, and the earliest won't arrive until 2:30pm. i'm pretty sure by that time on the thursday there wont be many decent places to pitch the tent, besides i'd like another day up north.

Any recommendations about traveling to the site on the wednesday? I can easily get a bus/train to Leeds, but the site is some 10 miles out in the sticks by the looks of things!
