I never understand why people want the line up to be leaked early? fair enough with wanting to know with the headliners abit early, but wanting to know the full line up is just stupid, i like the fact they release the line up on the night of the tickets going on sale, all part of the excitement.

Yeah i was a bit dissapointed knowing the lineup before it was announced last year, listening to zane lowe announce it in 2010 was pretty exciting for me

I hate it being released at the same time as tickets. It was particularly annoying back when I was sure it was going to sell out, as there was barely any time to speak to friends and try and convince them to go. It's just pressure selling having that short a time between announcement and purchasing.

Yeah, I love the excitement of clicking refresh over and over again when the time comes, and finally having the poster flash up on the screen and finding out who we've got. With leaks, it makes you think, 'this might possibly maybe be the real line-up... I don't know really, but it's probably it I guess... oh yeah, the leak was legit... cool, I guess'. Just anti-climactic that way. No sudden burst of OMHFG when the official announcement is made.

Yes it's exiting hearing the lineup when it should be announced. However I still feel that if it was announced a day before tickets went on sale it would give people enough time to ask those friends who don't decide until they see the full lineup. Like others have said its just pressure selling.

Zane lowe is a bit of a strange one.

Used to love watching in mtv as he was so chilled out, on r1 he always seems so much more manic.

It's not stupid in any way.

People want to/should know the lineup before they buy tickets. It's stupid that they don't they don't release it beforehand.

Yeah that's true, I can understand that for those who aren't sure then a line-up leak is a godsend. I'll be going whatever gets announced so it does sort of take away from the anticipation.
