chickenfire
Well the Hard Rock Calling Twitter said to bring wellies... I really can't be bothered to bring them on the train but I really cant imagine hyde park to be THAT bad. We are heading down thursday, get an extra day in london (hotel was cheap enough ) I agree with the ticket comment up there. But I reckon If soundgarden hadn't played download this would have sold much better.

chickenfire
What time you heading back on the Sunday? I also can't be bothered with wellies. I'm Scottish, I can survive a couple of nights walking in mud in just normal shoes
LondonTom
From a couple of people who went wireless on my facebook, the site looks muddy but I no one looks deep in mud , you'd probs be orite in an old pair of trainers tbh. (I.E your shoes might get a tad dirty but I'd say wellies are bit OTT Edited July 10, 2012 by LondonTom

kaosmark2
....yeah I'm really excited about the gig but I can't help but think that most Soundgarden fans would have made the trip to knebworth to see them, I almost did and certainly wouldn't have paid for a HRC ticket had I gone. If they'd been announced at the same time, it would have been a different story.
Justiceforcedave
Strange considering Download's at Donnington Hell, I bought my Download ticket the day Soundgarden were announced and I'm still going to this. Screw financial sense, it's Soundgarden.
kaosmark2
Aye, not saying it hasn't. Regardless, I be psyched. A small crowd means less people stopping me getting close to the front after Mars Volta as well
Mamba
I went to Wireless on Sunday (don't judge me!) and completely underestimated the mud. I had been following the Wireless twitter which said that you could wear wellies if you wanted to be on the safe side. I took that to mean it wasn't that bad having to been to some muddy festivals in my time. If it's anything like last weekend, I would highly recommend wellies or decent boots. There was no escaping the mud at all.

chickenfire
It's looking like they are getting their act together. On a band related note, I might avoid The Mars Volta after looking at their setlists from the last few days. They make me sad, was looking forward to them as well
CaledonianGonzo
The HRC account has just tweeted that there is no pit. Might make matters a bit more interesting down the front of The Boss...
mrtourette
Holy cow that's a lot of woodchip. And by no pit do they mean the crowd will only be allowed up to the crash barrier?
mrtourette
Also just seen the set times are up, Soundgarden are on 20.30 - 22.20.

chickenfire
I couldn't afford ATDI tickets either. Shame really. I got Mark Lanegan tickets for Edinburgh as well, through the HMV reward points. Heard so much good stuff about him thought I would make an efford and go see him. What should I listen to first? Justiceforcedave
Regarding ATDI, how much were tickets?
pjadnoo
I got a couple for my buddy of O2 priority yesterday (which was very easy might I add and still had tickets around 11:30am) and they were £30 each plus a £10 booking fee for both tickets so £70 in total. DAMN tickets are getting expensive.
