Yeah, i met the band after their performance in 2010 and they said they had to cut the end of the set as they ran out of time.

I think if they play again it will be 4th, or headline NME opposite Kasabian.

They might even appear up at Sonisphere yet seeing as they are playing the France date, saying that, they can still do both.

Just listened to bring 'em down. It's actually pretty good IMO. Its just most of the fans who loved them during the FSOP and SS era have sort of grown out of them since the last two poor attempts and won't really be too interested in this new material, whether it's good or bad.

12 years ago maybe. There is a reason Linkin Park developed their sound, in fact there is a reason why any of the bands of that era that are still going, changed their sound. Worked well at the time, but now? no.

It's a shame. LP had potential to be headlining this festival at this point in their careers, but they fucked it up.

They didn't.. They developed in a way they wanted to onto places they wanted to. They are still headlining big euro fests and do Download/Soni here. It was always more them. R&L changed to a fest not for them. They headlined Download in 04 after R&L, they still headlined Download in 07 and 11 plus a Soni slot.

For any Lost Prophets fans in the Kingston/London area the excellent Banquet Records are doing a club show for them where you can get in for £9 and it comes with the new album and tixs still haven't sold out.

I've read one or two reviews of the new and they seem very positive. As for someone mentioning that Radio 1 abandon bands like Lostprophets for the taste of the month band, well I was listening to Radio 1 pretty much all day yesterday at work and on my drive home, and they must have played Lostprophets new track "Bring em down" about 6 times! I believe they've just signed to a major record label and booking agent so think they may command a decent slot at festivals. Plus, am i the only one that has noticed that both their new songs are being used in ITV coverage of football constantly at the moment? As for their kingston gig, it hasn't been advertised at all, Lostprophets haven't really mentioned it either, they like to keep their smaller shows quiet. and i think that gig happens to be on the same night as a You me at six gig in London, so i think that'll rule out a lot of their fans. And although their 14 date headline tour is selling well, i think its selling slower than usual because it happens to slap bang in the middle of GCSE, A Level and Uni exams, therefore ruling out a load of their audience .
