Best campsite at Leeds

As the years have gone on, I've found myself moving further away from the arena. Started in yellow bubble, then after 05 moved to far side of orange near the tree line. Then after 09 when all the fires having gas canisters thrown in them took over orange as well, I've moved to the other side of the trees to green. I'd say a lot of the people camping in there are like-minded to the fest goers from the early 00's. No trouble but everyones still up all night getting wasted and having a good time.

I think we camped in green last year at Leeds, no reason behind though we came in through the entrance right next to green couldnt be asked to walk to another camp site :P so just camped there, plus is was handy to go back and forth to the car aswell, defo camp in green again, no knobheads, just friendly people having a good time and getting drunk. I've camped in red at Reading aswell which was pretty lively although on the last night we did have one of our tents slashed by some idiot.

Yeah green is like brown except louder and people stay up later. It's like walking into a different festival when you pass the tree line from orange. People are older and the dickhead quota drops considerably.

It still has the campsite dj on till 6am too if that's your thing.

Used to camp in valley opposite Picadilly but now I couldn't be arsed and always camp in Green. Brilliant atmosphere for me. Actually returning to Reading after a 3 year break and considering orange, only ever camped in purple (before it was even called that) or white (which I loved). Anyone any info on what it's like?

Yellow, without a shadow, soo convenient to nip back in between bands to get drink, gd crack, and has def quietened down in recent years in terms of fires etc so no need to worry. Have camped in orange before as well, and had a beast time as well so would also recommend, but a bit of a walk to get to the arena.

I go Orange at Reading. Not so close to the arena to be knee deep is mud and twats, but not so far from the arena you have to buy hiking boots. Also close to the tesco entrance/massive pizza place. Hung over? Go past tesco there is this fantastic pizza place. Any Pizza and price for bloody cheap.

I've been in Blue for the past few years, always pretty lively and everybody's up for a laugh, but few dickheads. It's not uncommon for us to bump into people who we've camped near in previous years, always good to know you can go and have a drink with some people you know are sound. Green sounds pretty good though, I might start giving it a go now that I'm clearly not one of the kids any more, sometimes feel a wee bit old when I meet some of the 16/17 year olds.

Went in white 2 years ago and yellow last year, white for me was really boring and quiet after the bands although the group of us were having a sing off with another group of fest goers!

Yellow had a much better vibe about it although someone stole our £10 Argos gazebo!

Was a lot busier at night and more people up, will be camping there again next year!

And as for drinking a can before getting to the arena, all you have to do is take it as a challenge to drink it when the guy says hell throw it away! And get it down you, best way to get you to drink up when someone threatens to bin it!
