The Blink day in 2010 had a bit of an "old school" feel about it, with Blink, Weezer, Cypress Hill and Limp Bizkit all playing. How about a similar sort of day next year with Indie? Would be pretty cool having a day like this:

Blur

New Order

Primal Scream

Happy Mondays

With more modern bands below.

(Probably wouldn't happen :P )

Just heard The Enemy's new song 'Saturday', what an awesome tune! If the rest of the new Streets in the Sky album is as good as this and the last song Gimme a Sign, then i think it'll be a massive album. Would love to see them at Leeds next year. 4th down, possibly even 3rd if this album takes off, if BBC and The Vaccines can play 3rd this year then why not The Enemy next year :)

I do think Biffy Clyro, Pendulum, Blur, Dizzee Rascal, Bloc Party and QOTSA have a good shout of making up the top 6 I think. Anyone thinking about QOTSA headlining Soni isn't going to happen, they need something much bigger than that to get people back there.

Just a thought too, as some have said about Download 2014. R&L to have The Prodigy, and I think with The Killers or Metallica back will depend on when Metallica release their next album as they have a good history from what I remember of playing R&L when they release a new one.

Same! They're the band I'm most disappointed about R&L not having this year. Ahh man, I wish I could go to the cathedral gig but Cov. is such a treck for me! Really hoping Leeds gets them next year. Personally I'd love for it to be Arctic Monkeys headlining with The Enemy subbing but it won't happen :P

Not really speculating dude as such, just as I personally thought The Prodigy are a very good shout for it, it'll be 2 years after headlining Download and as they're only show of this year, so except for a yet to be possibly confirmed after Download UK tour, that's the only time people will have heard the new material. But I can see that year being the return for The Killers as I just don't see it next year, has T in the Park/Oxygen Exclusive written all over it, maybe Hop Farm too for a UK date, but I think for ticket sales, R&L need to book them when they haven't played a UK Major general non-unique as in Hop farm Festival. I can't see 2 headliners from 08 being booked. Would love to see R&L give Pendulum the chance to headline sooner than Download do tho.

I wasnt having a go dude, if you wanna speculate 2014 then go for it :) its just premature isnt the word hahaha :) I agree about Pendulum too, I would take them as headliners next year let alone '14! I'd also take Nickelback for next year too ( Don't shoot me down completely Haha!) :P stick a big act in there too like Blur, Metallica, Arctic Monkeys, Green Day (not gunna happen) and that'd be a decent set of headliners, not very predictable, 2 brand new headliners and a big name draw :)
