Yeah I think Biffy Clyro have dug theirselves a bit of hole with playing so much and so many fests, this year would have been perfect for them to have off with nothing to promote!

Their around the right size for a bump up but with so many having a chance to see them all the time, they are hardly a major coup for a festival as headliner. (Then again was there last tour much bigger than Florences and she only subbed.) Maybe we overestimate their size a bit for a new rockish headliner to emerge.

I doubt Biffy will get bumped up this year, mainly because I reckon both R&L and TitP will want them and the killers. Theres no way they'd share 2 headliners. I also cant see Biffy agreeing to excluaively play as they'll have the new album to tour.

I reckon Killers will headline both, Biffy headline T and sub R&L

(Im aware this has probably been said many times before but oh well)

They haven't done a proper tour in years but the last time it was smaller than Flo's.

Unrelated but I can almost see a period joke with Florence what with hair being red and her name being shortened to Flo but I still haven't figured out what it is yet.

Nope unless you're gonna include Noel Gallagher & Jack White who's name is thown about for some reason but I disagree with about half of what you wrote.

All imo but I'd say something like this...

Likely: Killers

Possible: Bloc Party, Blur, Arcade Fire

Slim chance: AC/DC, Coldplay, Linkin Park, Metallica, Mumford & Sons, Biffy Clyro, Prodigy, Blink 182

No chance: Arctic Monkees, Green Day, Kings Of Leon, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stone Roses

With Metallica it depends on if they have a new album out (which is unlikely) in time, Mumford and Prodigy depends if they whore themselves out to every fest, Biffy I can only see headline if they headline TITP too and Arcade Fire seem more likely than you would think at 1st as they have gotten bigger since they headline, have new material, mates with one of the R&L bookers and the minimum amount of time has passed for them to return.

Apparently Black Keys have been voted most likely to headline in the future also mentioned are Vaccines, Of Monters & Men, Two Door Cinema Club, Bombay Bicyle Club, Alabama Shakes, Lana Del Ray, You Me At Six, Passion Pit and Joy Formidable.

All of them are bit meh to be headline in the future imo.

It's not that, none them have any real buzz about about them the same way I saw with White Stripes, Arctic Monkees, Muse, Mr Clyro and Arcade Fire when they were small. Even Black Keys who I'm fond of lack it.

IMO Mr Turner, Mr Rascal and Santigold (probably not at R&L tho) would make better future headliners if they become popular enough and they've got a better chance than of lot of the names mentioned.
