Well that wasn't a serious prediction, and I'm fully aware Tool won't headline R&L. It was more what I would like at the moment.

And White Lies followed by Editors may be depressing, but it'd be good.

I think it comes down to expectations. I wouldn't call those acts inspired bookings for ATP because I would expect them to play ATP events, but of course they would be at Reading. I'd be knocked out by seeing Portishead on the R&L bill but wouldn't consider it unusual at an ATP event.

Can we not have Enter Shikari, Vaccines, Two Door, Crystal Castles or Pulled Apart By Horses this year? Vaccines and two door will have to do V soon surely?!

Ahahahaha, brilliant. Yeah MCR was a brilliant booking, no one complained about them headlining at all. Youd rather them book MCR to headline than the Killers?

At least I now understand what the difference between inspiring and uninspiring. Inspiring is someone who most people think are shit, and definitely arent big enough to headline. I can see why youre complaining that the Killers are uninspiring

I'd say Hot Chip are too big for FR, more likely 3rd on the nme if anything, M.I.A looks to low down as well
