surely there has to be more demand for metal/rock than indie bands now, can we not have the vaccines/tdcc/alt-j and all that generic shite, i'd like to see soundgarden, prodigy, deftones, slipknot, NoFX, bmth, adtr, rancid, refused (if they're still around) or just someone that people don't expect e.g. my chemical romance. I'm sixteen which at the moment is around the target market for Leeds/Reading, surely i cant be alone in wanting less "indie". I'd be so disappointing for R+L to have boring headliners e.g. the killers, save that shit for glasto

I'm only 18 and have only been to reading the past 2 years but still believe the headliners/line up need to not be totally indie:

the good thing about the past two years is that they have both had acts headline that people weren't expecting (My Chemical Romance and The Cure) this then made their appearances at the festival more exciting and interesting due to no one knew what to expect with acts such as The Killers you'll get a good show but you're more than likely gonna find them at other festivals for the next few years, I personally would like to see at least 2 interesting and exciting choices whether that be a new act stepping up to headline or an older band headlining
