There is a lot of thing people didn't see. Mumford have sold out their while arena tour with ease and will sell out the o2 again on monday too, all befoe 2013 even hits! They could sub but I don't think you can rule them out. MB has said Bloc Party and Biffy are not headliners yet, he hasn't said Mumford aren't.

Not really.

Arcade Fire and Arctic Monkeys had both released their third albums when they headlined and The Killers were on the verge of releasing their third. The difference between them and Mumford is that they had a third album's worth of material to pick from/promote rather than only just releasing their second.

Mumford and Sons, based on the speed of selling out arena's and massive album sales, are definitely big enough to headline.

The only question is wether they are playing other festivals. If they are just doing T and Reading, they will headline Reading. If they are doing glastonbury/Bestival as well, then they will sub at reading.

I am pretty confident Biffy and Blur will play.

I think Mumford will sub on sat. That is of course if they are not playing V.

I would like PJ but realistically I agree with the thetime in thinking the killers are pretty likely.

That would be a fairly strong set of headliners with something for everyone.

I think Biffy would be good R/L headliner. They were great when they did Sonisphere (tho probs depends on who you're asking) - they'd defo be more suited to headlining R/L though. It would make sense at least, they're definitely in the right position to headline now - big songs, plenty of material, big following etc
