DL50
You know i could see that happening as well as obv R&L love to give bands the push, looking at how well their second album has sold i'd say they're just about big enough

Andre91
Laura Marling 4th!? Miles Kane would be higher than her surely? I'm still going for Biffy as a headliner. Alongside The Killers & Blur.

mrtourette
Agree that with a new album out she'd be a good shout. I think she'd be in one of the tents though, would be a good FR headliner to counter other types of music headlining the other stages. Mouseboy11
Why did someone suggest The Prodigy could headline the tent? That's a ridiculous statement, surely they're outright headliners now?

thetime
so give them a headline slot cause they'd probably show up whoever they were subbing for/playing the tent against. Edited October 9, 2012 by thetime
rug568
Prodigy would be terrible. Would attract totally the wrong crowd.

Andre91
Wasn't that the assumption this year with the crowd Kasabian would attract? I found the crowd great for them. I don't understand the whole dick head/chav crowd thing tbh. There is a chance of there being tools in any crowd, I don't see the big thing about people being bothered about the 'kind of crowd' bands will attract. Just have a good time watching the band, don't worry about what everyone else is doing.

Andre91
From personal experience I've never seen anything wrong with the crowd at Arctic Monkeys own shows. The only offence is some really bad singing along but that's about it *EDIT* A lot of people have said the same about The Enemy's crowd. I went to see them the other night and the crowd was brilliant. Yeah a lot of the guys watching might look like chavs but their behaviour was just fine. guitarbhoy1888
bit of a shot in the dark but how about rage against the machine ? would bring a bit more heaviness back to the fest, absolutely massive and its 20 years next year since their first album. would be a big booking for R&L.
