I'd reckon they get a hour set but mid-billing somewhere around 5th-3rd with them being at the lower end of that depending on how many other UK fests they are playing.

They headlined the tent on the back of a succesful album with a couple of hit(ish) singles, and back then they were still known by enough of the older crowd members to be a decent draw. Five years later and without that mianstrem success/exposure are they still going to be the same draw? I doubt it, unless they play some kind of comeback card and NME get on board to boost their profile.

I love the manics, would definitely see them if they headlined the tent, where do people think they would play though if they were main stage, are they still big enough for 2nd or would they be 3rd?

When i saw them at Oxegen they were 4th under Coldplay, Beyonce and Slash

Obviously a different festival, but i really can't decide where they would be at R&L

However if they did then I'm also coming round to it working, espicially since they seem to be popular across a wide range of fans, and at the very least it would mean putting different style (ie good) headliners on the other stages.

Me too. They would be so dull but they are unbelievably popular now as the album and tour sales have shown.

Let them headline so all the topman-wearing indie kids get their hipster fix and put an older rock NME headliner ala Jane's Addiction.

I thought the first two were great and the others since have been good (apart from that dreadful instrumental one). Unfortunately not enough people give a shit about them nowadays for them to be booked.

NIN at Reading 07 was one of the most magnificent, stunning, amazing sets I've seen in my life.

While I want to see them back, I want them back once Trent is ready to do something impressive and amazing again, not just do it because fans are calling for it and he could do with a bit of money.

I would also like to see Tenacious D play but it probably won't happen
