If Green Day played I would be one of the people to go even though I've got tickets for the Emirates Stadium... I don't think they will play though.

I said Noel as it would be an exclusive, like a few bands have done in the past. He headlines arena's, more than big enough to headline. It was either Noel or Snow Patrol.

Green Day's stadium date is in June. By the time Reading comes to announce in March, it should already be sold out. Also didn't stop the Foo's playing festivals around their stadium shows.

The hype from their debut hasn't really been sustained, and I can't see them having a 2nd out by then anyway considering they're touring for the next few months. They're certainly not at the same level of popularity as any of the NME headliners for the last few years. I'd say 3rd is a reasonable place for them

i think the thing is mate, Mumford this time unlike Flo have announced and sold out there arena tour before possibly even getting booked, so FR know the draw. Flo's arena tour was a little later I think. I reckon they may headline, they could still sub at Glasto could they not? R*L might need to give them headline to keep from V, as if both are offering a sub place, V will pay more.

bands like Biffy Clyro, Jack White, Placebo, JEW, Billy Talent and Alkaline would be great to have on a Sabbath day.
