That's the only album he's ever measured on, when he's got so many great records. He doesn't get the media exposure or hype that the likes of Jay-Z, Kanye, Eminem, even Lil' Wayne (I do like a fair bit of his stuff, but he is NOT a great rapper or writer) get. Although he has a near cult following, in the wider community he is underrated compared to other stars of the genre. If him or DMX were to play R&L it would be so good.

I'm always reading about him. At the moment I'm sick of reading about him & Kim Karsashin having an affair and now he's releasing love songs about her though I did read something funny about him wanting her to be more natural looking which kinda defeats the point of going out with a porn star*.

*I refuse to acknowledge her as having any kinda of career other than as a porn star since it's her fucking on camera that made everyone intrested in her in the 1st place.

A general rule of thumb to see if they'd be a realistic crossover act for R&L is check how much NME is pushing them (ie Dizzee Rascal, Odd Future and Azealia Banks).

On the subject of Nas, I don't see why he would be an ideal crossover act now when he hasn't been booked over the last twenty years. I think people are just naming their favourite acts or what they'd want to see rather than what is likely to be booked and what would go down well.

I used to go when it was in Reading, but mainly due to the convenience. It was good but it wasn't so good I'd travel to it, not really my cup of tea.

If that makes me a bad person then strike me down.

I'm not surprised that a Reading Fest goer isn't a huge fan. It's a festival for people who like music, not those who don't. :P
