chriseede
Pretty decent line-up Stick Vampire Weekend above TDCC and swap The Enemy and Friendly Fires and I'd be very very happy Some good suggestions for other fests too. Although I can't see MCR headlining Download again. I'm calling: Download- Rammstein, Slipknot, Iron Maiden. Sonisphere- RATM, Avenged Sevenfold and I'm not sure about the 3rd, but I'll say either SOAD or Van Halen atm. T in The Park- Biffy Clyro, Kings of Leon and Green Day. V- Kanye West and Coldplay. IOW is always a bit unpredictable so I'm not sure, and I'd agree with your Glasto
Gucci Piggy
I think for R+L: Biffy Clyro Pendulum Bring Me the Horizon Frank Turner Bloc Party/The Killers Franz Ferdinand/Mumford & Sons White Lies Miles Kane You Me At Six Blur Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds Editors Metronomy The Saturday headliner and sub in this prediction depend on other festivals. For other festivals I'm thinking: Glastonbury: The Stone Roses, Radiohead, Lady Gaga T in the Park: Biffy Clyro, The Killers, Arcade Fire V Festival: Lady Gaga, Muse Download: Slipknot, Iron Maiden, Rammstein (not sure on this 3rd headliner) Sonisphere: Queens of the Stone Age, don't know who else. I do think though that Muse will play Isle of Wight, T in the Park or a heavy festival on top of V. And I can see Van Halen doing Download or Soni. Gucci Piggy
Agreed. If we got those two I could even put up with Mumford!
moz4pm
why do you guys even bother guessing for a festival 17 months away?! You must have better things to do with your time!

moz4pm
Better the guy wasting his time predicting a lineup 17 months away than the guy wasting his time complaining about the guys doing the predicting

dirtymookie
'on hiatus' they've said that they'll probably be back at some point but haven't indicated any sort of timeframe theoretically it's possible that they could play next year

Andre91
Indeed. 2015 if that is the year will be an almighty scrap to land Oasis between V and R&L I reckon. Also judging by MB's latest comments, The Stone Roses you would think will be offered there next year or year after. My guess would be year after as I think Glasto will have them next year. Can Kinda see The Roses being the big indie band before the try for Oasis to take it the following. Speaking of indie bands, I don't think The Killers will play next year either. eFestivals
Dude, I'd be loving it if Oasis reform in 2015! I agree about the V and R&L scrap, throw TITP and Glasto in there too. What makes you think The Killers won't play? I'd say they're a possibility for next year. TITP will probably snap them up, they seem to love them. I don't think Glasto will be bothered to have Oasis again. They tend not to invite back bands that have put in a shit headline performance. thesecretingredientiscrime
stone roses heavily rumoured? shit reading headliner, pulled out in 1995 at glasto(pulp taking over) if I am not mistaken. eFestivals
stone roses heavily rumoured? shit reading headliner, pulled out in 1995 at glasto(pulp taking over) if I am not mistaken. They never played, and there's an idea that they owe Glasto for pulling out - so if they are still going to exist next summer I reckon they're nailed on, particularly as Brown and Mani are huge Glasto fans (and Mani personally known by Eavis, and perhaps Brown too). thetime
If you notice, he said Glasto, which means them having produced a shit headline performance there. With regards to Oasis, I really can't see MB booking them. They only played twice when they were together, and Melvin was only talking about them getting back together. If they did, I assume SJM would be the leading force in it, and we all know where that would go.
GRichards23
I reckon for an outside bet... Oasis will headline the IOW Festival before V and R&L again. Big statement I know. 2013 predictions - IOW - Pendulum, Arcade Fire, The Killers Download - B4MV, Foo Fighters, Tool Sonisphere - Avenged Sevenfold, Van Halen, Blink 182 R&L - Biffy Clyro, Green Day (dream), The Prodigy/Eminem Glastonbury - Lady GaGa, Stone Roses, Dizzee Rascal TiTP - Blur, Biffy Clyro, Mumford and Sons
