I almost worked MI5 once, I even went to the HQ but turned it down as they offer shit money. They do something really cool tho were they give you 3 weeks off on top of your holiday to learn a new skill of your choice like a new language, mechanics etc.

yeah from what i've heard it sounds really weak, and really rather terrible.

I listened to the whole album, thought it was decent. Sounded like they had found and good mix of metal and electronic. Burn it down is weak and I don't think it should of been a single but I think it's a good overall album.

I can't remember the other single I heard on Kerrang but it was every bit as bad as Burn it Down. They just sound to me like a band that don't know which direction they are trying to go in. If they only played material from the first three albums I'd be happy with them headlining. That said I will give the new album a listen and with low expectations I may be pleasantly surprised.

Are you surprised? Anyone with any sense could see they are not headliners unless its an exceptional circumstance. (E.g. someone pulling out and they are bumped up!).#

AND THE ACTUAL FUCK, No london date!!!...Someone is hating me up there atm with regards to tickets! Missed out the koko date, missed out on music tickets and no london date as part of the tour!

This autumn and wikbter going to be great for gigs, the last year hasnt been much for my tastes at all. With radiohead, bat for lashes, hot chip and bloc party already lined up.

that said.... how many times can they keep pulling off a sub slot playing those kind of venues. I've a feeling that Bloc Party will be this generations Ash, or Feeder... bands who are big at the festival and will always get booked, but in lower and lower slots. I can't see them becoming huge, and the only way seems to be down for them.
