Cheers for that, as said I have been thinking about it for a good while (years!) and it feels the right time with less time constraints now my children have turned into adults. I am pretty easy going and tend to find myself nattering to anyone but equally okay in my own company if needed.....I will deffo do something, somewhere and with the expectation of not getting Glastonbury next year without priority, but will try nevertheless as it will only be me so no harm in looking juat in case the odd late space comes up.

This is the same person who has only just joined the forum and was claiming it was MCR (who are fully ruled out) and Robbie Williams. Not putting all my chips on this if I’m honest, we’re expecting the announcement around that time anyway.

Three was good this year. 

Agree with this. I kinda get why folk want to have a nose at it out of curiosity after dark but it equally baffled me a bit this yr why you would choose to do that when it is so rammed you can barely see owt. Other than going for the odd specific set, that level of crowd is not really our thing in the early hours after a full on day (Strummerville more my thing to finish off on!).  But we loved the area and struck me that if anything it gets a bit under used earlier in the day. One of my favourite memories this year was Platform 23 on the Weds afternoon with enough of a crowd for a bit of a buzz but comfortable to ease into the festival. Ditto Nowhere next door that had a few bits on late afternoon/early evening. And a great time to walk around and see everything.
