I'm not too knee on Bestival, a few bands I'd see (would love to see Foals doing a headline set) but not much.

Not really. I'd still need more to get me to go. I don't even listen to Elbow that much and I only saw them as my uncle took me and I don't think I've ever gone about Elbow on here at all

Me neither, I live in York but there wasn't much hype about it last year so it sort of just passed me by, this year you couldn't seem to get away from it as it was advertised/promoted everywhere around York haha. Not a bad price for the day either!

Yeah there are some cool bands about, unfortunately recently The Duchess has stopped booking many local bands and is focusing on bands that aren't from York for whatever reason. Still a decent little venue, seen some great bands there! Nick Oliveri playing there soon, very tempted to go..

Most of my friends are doing Download or Sonsiphere this year.

For me this year's lineup is pretty weak, apart from QOTSA, Enter Shikari, Crossfaith, ADTR, papa roach, Young Guns, of mice & Men and Architects

If I was to judge just based on the music and just chose stuff I really wanted to see i think it would be like this....

If I was to go to Download - 1 Headliner, 5 Mainstage, 5 Rest of line up

If I was to go to Lattitude - 2 Headliners, 5 Mainstage, 3 ROL

If I was to go to V - 1 Headliner, 2 Mainstage, 8 ROL

If I was to go to IOW - 3 Headliners, 4 Mainstage, 4 ROL

If was to go to Bestival - 1 Headliner, 10 ROL

and finally If I was to go to R&L - 2 Headliners, 4 Mainstage, 13 ROL

So yep for me Leeds is the best out of a bad year and with it being so close (I can walk it) its well worth it

EDIT - that is excluding clashes... for example at Leeds im planning to catch a little of AM but not the full set...

None of them are absolutely horrendous for me but I don't find any of them particularly amazing either
