I bet you both had black parade jackets

I managed to find them (accidentally might I add) last year on Holiday to Italy, was tempted to buy one then I realised how stupid it'd be and I don't even like MCR as much as I used to

But in all fairness Gerard Way is a great booking and I think he should be a bit higher. He is going to draw a big crowd, possible one of the biggest one the NME all weekend.

Okay fine... so that we can all feel comfortable enough to reveal our darkest time in music past.

I bought their discography when I was 11 and that came with t-shirts and merch. I actually asked for one of the jackets for christmas but never got it, think my parents were one step ahead of me.

Nah I think opening the NME is good for a first ever show. He'l probably be awful, and any spot higher would be taking a slot away from someone good.

Even if he opens the NME and gets a big crowd it shouldn't matter. Twin Atlantic seem to be playing very low this year, they will get a big crowd too I reckon... think the NME this year has been "Who can we book (even last minute) and squeeze without them complaining". After playing 6th down on mainstage last year and being booked 6th down NME i'd probably have put up a fuss, but good for them if they want to play and don't mind their slot.

But they could have gotten away with him being placed higher, anyway he probably wont open the NME as there could be one or two more acts to go under him.

Wasn't too bad when I saw MCR in 2011 if I remember. But I was a fanboy back then

Your darkest time is liking MCR? They weren't even that bad. Well, Black Parade was that bad but the rest of it is okay and fairly inoffensive although I didn't listen to the last one.

I guess Gerard Way was a late addition where they couldn't really knock anyone down but they thought the next best thing was a larger slot opening the tent.

This should also includes toilet breaks. If you can't hold it in as soon as the arena gates open til the last acts stops playing you should have your ticket taken away from you too

My brother went for a shit in FIDLAR. I was left on my own for a minute. Then I spotted someone I knew at the other side of the tent. Cool.

Yeah I never liked MCR. My friends said that about Fall Out Boy last year too. What if we never went through a pleb stage?

Most rock music fans have the MCR/FOB/Black Veil Brides/BMTH/You Me At Six pleb stage

I still kinda like BMTH, but fucking hell I remember when I genuinely loved You Me At Six... dark days.

I used to like all of those bands at one point, Black Veil Brides didn't last long to be fair. Took me a month to hate them, but apart from them I still like them. Excluding BVB, all of those bands were my favourites at one point.....still love BMTH to be honest but tI don't listen to them regularly, but I still love their music
