Can I ask why? Not listened to it at all, but everyone seemed to really enjoy the lead singers coming out and such

(not answering your question but) I get the sense the lead singer is a bit of an idiot tbh as she loves to talk about homophobia, transphobia etc. but when AF's We Exist video came out she was very vocal against it all because Andrew Garfield, a straight man, played the lead. She completely missed the point and when it was pointed out to her she went on a rant about how it was mis-interpretation and just harming their cause.

EDIT: Just looked it up, this Little Britain stuff is seriously bad humour, a part of me wants to laugh, a part of me wants to cry.

What is that?

It was a sketch on this horrible early 2000's comedy show called Little Britain where there was a man in a Welsh village who took pride in being the 'only gay in the village' and it was all he talked about, but was often faced with many other gay people (like the whole village) whom he derided and dismissed as not properly gay and that he was the 'only gay in the village', with unfunny consequences. The situation's not really like that but it's similarly petty.

I feel old having to explain about Little Britain. :lol:

Cheers for the explanation - you shouldn't feel old though; having grown up in Ireland, we didn't get Little Britain on the tv so I've never heard of it until now! :P

It's album of the year in my opinion. And I'm not sure why radical feminists are the authority on the subject but I might be missing something.

They were far better than baby Godzilla at download. Those guys are as shit as bmth were when they started out. There's a reason they do all that crazy shit, it's to distract you from the songs. :)

Massive thanks to Babyquack for passing on his BST tickets to me - the National were freaking incredible :).

Neil Young was alright, but I'm not gonna lie, tested my patience at times with the extended jams. My favourite bit was actually the Blowin' In The Wind cover...
