Sound cut out, stayed out for ten minutes or so, then was ridiculously quiet once it was 'fixed'.

After the Reading sound system blew up (twice) they had to feed the sound through the BBC's system. Obviously the set was being recorded for TV/Internet and I think broadcast live on Radio 1, so they probably did have the sound set slightly lower for that, although I couldn't really tell much difference.

I don't remember, but you can't just tease us with that (as the featured quote on the cover, no less) and then not follow through. It's really Kerrang's fault rather than Gerard Way himself, but it still resulted in a big let-down on the day.

Where were you stood? I was right in the middle, twenty-ish meters in front of the tower and it was much too quiet there. Really seemed to kill the crowd around me. The Only Exception was great, they made the best of a bad situation and it really worked, but for me it was all downhill from there.

Of course it's Kerrnag's fault, but yes if you choose to put faith in throwaway headines in rags like Kerrang or NME that are only there to entice people to buy /read them then I can imagine it would be a let-down.

His solo stuff must have been really shit for the lack of MCR songs to actually make the set worse.
