Tobieski
Well it appears that the Sonisphere announcement will definitely include Metallica atlas expected, I think we can categorically rule them out full now. Progress.

seanthomason123
That'd be great, Animals would be awesome. Can definitely see it happening, Baauer(forgive my spelling) played last year with all the hype over Harlem Shake. It'd be a massive ticket seller. Like mcbusted? Because that would be SICK

Did anyone go see Baauer this year by the way? I was walking past the dance stage when I heard the Harlem shake, so running in there with some people, went along to it, assumed it was Baauer, later found out it was someone else... Don't think I missed much

dentalplan
I think Sabbath will be announced tomorrow, then they'll get announced for Hellfest on Wednesday as well. I just rooted around the European festivals to see if there were any interesting announcements that could effect Leeds or Glasto (there was just one) but I spotted Northside were announcing two bands tomorrow; one Danish and one 'international' and each of them have a lead singer who also has a solo career. Instantly thought of Black Sabbath for the 'international' one (because they're not from Denmark, not because their members are international FFS). So yeah, that might be a thing. AlexMacca
The guy that runs the Arctic Monkeys forum and the US fan site thing has been pretty adamant that AM are playing R&L, despite the Finsbury and T in the Park dates. Obviously, it isn't a definite but, he normally knows everything they have planned through various contacts and the band itself. Just thought I'd share, I genuinely think they won't....I'm ready for the onslaught of "but Neil has took the rumour off" though!

I think it'd be similar to Baauer though, could be a big announcement at the time of announcing because of the one song, but by the festival nobody would care.
