Lineup 2014

Reckon the announcement tomorrow will be ten acts/bands:

The Prodigy

Martin Garrix

Bastille

A Day To Remember

Rudimental

Papa Roach

Of Monsters And Men

Tom Odell

CHVURCHES

MMX

Seems good, probably wont get ten acts though. Probably less around 5.

I think it will be blur as it wont be QOTSA or Paramore as it wouldn't be a massive draw all by themselves and I don't think that they will try to compete with Soni.

I don't think Baauer was a "massive ticket seller" and Martin Garrix probably wouldn't be either.

Did anyone go see Baauer this year by the way?

One of the best dance sets of the weekend for me... Harlem shake was crap but the rest of the set was remixs and other stuff and was really good

I just rooted around the European festivals to see if there were any interesting announcements that could effect Leeds or Glasto (there was just one) but I spotted Northside were announcing two bands tomorrow; one Danish and one 'international' and each of them have a lead singer who also has a solo career. Instantly thought of Black Sabbath for the 'international' one (because they're not from Denmark, not because their members are international FFS). So yeah, that might be a thing.

Good spot. Although, being a British band, I guess it doesn't really affect the chances of Sabbath as much as it would, say, Pearl Jam.

I've seen AC/DC. I'd just like a headliner I haven't seen before.

Yeah I know what you mean, although for me personally there aren't too many bands left that could headline that I both haven't see and would be bothered about. I wouldn't mind Blur (although I doubt they will play) as I missed most of their set last time they played in favour of AFI.

I did the same, I'd still chose AFI over a watered down Blur anytime.

Same. I wouldn't mind Arctics for that reason despite the poor live rep.
