I'm actually horrified by the assumption that this 'co-headliners' thing would be another Reading tradition...

Every year we look at what's been done with the headliners and think they might change things. After the 2011 bookings loads of people thought co-headlining was going to be regular. After 2012 loads of people thought more headliners would do more extended 2hr30 sets. After this year people were convinced there was going to be a step-up band headlining on their own after an arena tour.

No I didn't ignore it. You're clutching at straws. If it was different sources then maybe it would be a possibility, you need to think how a source would know any information about 2 weeks before the announcement when press release was sent today also information that isn't available yet.

The first part is right, as in blink headlining, he had the soni and download headliner right. There is no reason not to believe him.

It's only a mess for those who don't like it. There are plenty of great slots left. 2011 was worst by far on paper for me but was one of my favorites by far.

Arcade fire doing the early fests was the biggest give away. I reckon they are nailed on for Glastonbury.

I'd be reasonably happy with the lineup as long as it was Qotsa above Paramore at Leeds rather than Reading and there was a fair amount of good acts on other stages which I'm sure R&L will provide. I'm having major festival mood swings today and I'm not enjoying it.

My faiths in Soni now. To be fair, I didn't even hate that 2012 lineup. Queen was a joke, but if they had some of those lower bands return then it'll be better then the joke reading has announced

Yeah, I've compared Blink's size to a subbing band SOAD who I like. I think in terms of appeal, suitability and pulling power they're comparable except for Blink's more recent headline slot.

I agree let paramore close reading. That would make my possibility of going increase. Saying that if it's Sunday night I could just head off early when Qotsa finished and miss paramore altogether.
