In terms of this co-headline, and people saying it's an excuse to book two smaller headliners; that's not a fair way to look at QOTSA/Paramore co-headlining this year. Everyone accepted one of them would headline, and therefore accepted we would get one of them subbed by a smaller act. So, having them both co-headline is actually the opposite of a cop out, surely?

Blink-182, Arctic Monkeys and QOTSA/Paramore is stronger than Blink-182, Arctic Monkeys and QOTSA with a normal sub.

The point I'm making is essentially the same, they can both (just about) get away with headlining so why not just wait a year for one so they're not getting this shitty 1 hour 15 not proper headline slots.

I think people said having a co-headline is just a cop out so they don't have to book 3 headline sized bands or whatever, when Lucky first mentioned it.

In 2015, the interest for QOTSA/Paramore will be even lower than it is now, so I don't think that'd work really. They should just not book Paramore.

That's another thing personally, I want to see QOTSA headline Reading, but I want that day to be decent. Paramore co-headlining with them means it'll probably end up like The Cure's day in '12, where most of that day was utter cack. We might have got a sub I liked.

Might be right for QOTSA but Paramore haven't done any touring this year (I think?) and will be probably be at least working on a new album so it would probably work that way round

But yeah I think it's a cop out like they daren't rely on one band being a headliner so they give a headline set each to two bands just to safeproof and have people coming for each of those bands. I dunno if that sounds right but it does in my head. I don't think it's much good for the crowd or the bands to have two different (well there's some crossover with Yellow and types like him) crowds for two very different bands being there. It doesn't really flow.

This is the best way to like Paramore as the typical eFests poster. It avoids most of the pop punk till the end and by then you'll have S/T on repeat anyway
