Sure, all 3 are decent acts that can headline Glasto now. I don't think all 3 should in the same year. Sure, you can't always get a McCartney or an Elton John to headline, but someone alongside 2 of those would be a much more rounded set of headliners imo. It would also be better for the 2 that did headline, there'd be less pressure and negative attention on them. -

I think Weezer will honestly be there this year. Not sure if the old "rock" slot third on a Friday is where they'd be though. They scream mid-afternoon on the Other to me. -
I agree, I think 1 of these 3 is off and was a replacement for the other - maybe 1975 replacing Fender (who was replacing Fred). And there will be an Eminem/Rihanna/Stevie Wonder in there, or a name of similar size/age that hasn’t been discussed yet. I kinda don’t believe the festival can’t get even one considering what they’ve pulled in the past. I may have regional bias, though. Where I live Sam Fender is playing my local rock club in 2025 (capacity 1500 people), so it’s hard to fathom him headlining Glastonbury. I realize he’s much, much bigger in England but does Glastonbury book acts that are only famous in country like that? The last time I remember that was Stormzy but that felt a lot more specific, like it was a kinda political choice and highlighting a unique and cool British music genre - that’s not at all the case with Fender. -
Julien Baker last night ...amazing, definitely the strongest of the 3 Boy Genius members love gigs these days, mix of radio 6 dads and teens crying and doing reaction videos on Tiktok but i will never get queuing up before a gig, people were in the queue 3 hours before in the pouring rain. -

Yeah I mean we can't just say Fatboy Slim isn't the sizeable booking when he's recently done arenas and sold very well. Right now he's as popular as he's been for a while...he isn't just seen as the going through the motions dj currently. He has his own tent promotion I believe at Creamfields too instead of just subbing a main stage again. I think he'll get his biggest slot at Glastonbury for sometime, maybe not Other but I could see him getting WHs.
