How am i getting "touchy" can you give me any other examples I am getting upset... I'm normally an easy going guy however when someone tells me effectively that im lying when im not it kind of pisses me off

I wouldn't worry about devilman, everyone knows his take that if you aren't a hairy-arsed meathead that get's tanked up on diesel and sports a jean jacket and mullet while trying to win running headbutt competitions then you aren't a real man.

Saying that if you will attempt to get into the crowd to watch C&S and Eminem you deserve all you get.

Someone I know thought that McBusted would be announced this Tuesday and they would be headlining. I don't think much of musical taste any more. The other scary thing is other people want and think this as well....

I'd be delighted with McBusted at T in a lower slot. McFly were great opening main stage last year. A similar slot would suit me down to the ground.

They're not gonna touch Reading and Leeds though.

I can see why the crowd would be dangerous for some, of course. But to be 'trapped' so you can't get out of a crowd for thirty minutes, then the whole Eminem set? Come on, son.

Never happened.

To be fair, didn't something happen with the barrier during C&S?

The barrier was fine.

"C&S was fine you're all fairies"

Aye tell that to the stage manager then. He didn't see the same thing.

What did he see?

I've never had an issue with festival safety and I've seen loads of shit. The most notable crowd squeezes I remember in my life are pendulum in the nme tent reading 08 and noting hill carnival near enough every year. But if you walk the other direction to most people then it's fine.

I find cutting in front of people works best, moving across the crowd flow.

Where you there. Stop speaking about me if you have no fucking idea.

I was, and there was some issues it wasn't as bad as your making out.

Surely how bad you found a crowd is purely subjective and heavily localised?

I've been to my fair share of festivals so crowds don't bother me but my girlfriend only comes to download as its just down the road from her and if there's a huge headliner on and it gets very busy she can feel a bit uncomfortable so we move back. It doesn't even register to me but if she's uncomfortable in that crowd situation then surely that's all that matters?

If Kemosabe was uncomfortable then he was uncomfortable, it's all subjective...

Not everyone has no problems pushing out of a crowd, some people are a bit more timid and feel trapped

And as i mentioned above it's often heavily localised. Where I was for foo's in 2012 was mental, didn't stop the whole gig and some other people who judging from their description were not too far away from us were really disappointed with the lack of crowd movement.

Glad to know you followed me around at the festival and were in exactly the same place as me so knew that i am actually just making everything up for a laugh.... oh wait you wern't next to me. Do not call me a lair.

And as for how bad i am making it out.. am i even making it out to sound bad? Where i was stood idiots made it alot worse then it should have been, i put no blame on the festival at all as im not sure how much safer they could have made it... however idiots trying to mosh when everyone was packed in like sardines and the fact people couldnt get carried out because people in the front row were more concerned with there Phones being trained on the empty stage then lifting people out is the only real problem... oh and the fact that Eminem is really really popular.

As i have said i saw one lad almost get trampled and a lady have a panick attack and i couldn't get out... that is all i have said (though TBH i could probably have got out in the last 30 mins but by then there was not point by then... for the majority i could not move!)... But what were the problems you have stated there were?

A round of chill pills for the efests forum thank you very much. I'm the angriest man in the world but wow.

On the subject of scariest crowds I've been in. Incubus in Cardiff Arena 2007 was pretty damn scary. Which is kind of surprising since I always thought their fanbase would be pretty chilled out.

Although the other two times I saw them (including in Cardiff again) it was pretty chilled out.

Learn something new every day. I've never seen Incubus but like you, wouldn't have thought they would have a particularly boisterous crowd

Personally I felt pretty scared in Chase & Status, whereas I was entirely comfortable with the moshpits at SOAD. Where I was for C&S there were people just shoving other people around (not even in pits), and kicking them etc. it was pretty horrible and I'm not usually that bothered by crowds

I saw Chase and Status at Hackney and their 'fans' really don't have a fucking clue how to behave. Never mind mosh pits, I felt like I was stood in a cesspit of retards.

Perfectly sums up the crowd to be honest and apparently Modestep was similar as my mates complained about the crowd there. I was there but I was at the back so I couldn't really tell

I can't believe a source would accurately get Blink and fail on something else.

Someone said Blink, Linkin Park and Arctic Monkeys before. Maybe Blink's name has been floating around behind the scenes for a while now. I do think what Luckysalt has said is right, but to say it's almost certain is a bit much.
