It better to do. Panic Station is a guilty pleasure (just love the bass in it to be fair) but it should be far away from that list!

I worked on the supermarket a few years ago. Yeah they just give you a different band and you walk free as a bird!

Not necessarily.There's staff camping areas next to White, and lots of the stalls are allowed to set tents up behind the stall, although you'd be able to camp in the normal fields if you wanted.

Traders are given a different wristband and this still has access restrictions.

Times of access to arena are restricted.

Production, stage and emergency channel areas are out of bounds.

Also you get arena traders and camspite traders bands which have conditions attached.

Do you camp in the same place?

I went on the Tuesday so nearest to the supermarket then moved afterwards. Other people working said you could travel round the staff entrances into the arena so you didnt need to get your bags checked but I am not sure

They can camp where they want however there is a section which is reserved for workers

so you can get in a day early hang around then when your mates get there you can go camp with them and enjoy the festival the wristbands you have are a differnt colour but other then that no different

If the strokes subbed arctics i'd have very mixed feelings.

I really like arctics, but the strokes are far better than arctics, far more influential, far more entertaining.... (imo)

Although I have got tickets for Finsbury Park, as I am a big arctics fan (also tame impala supporting after missing them at r/l cos of foals was a big draw!)

Charlie Gate is traders entrance when the arena is opened or you can use either arena entrance.

Pushing it a bit with far more entertaining. Get the strokes on doing Is This It straight through with a few singles tagged on the end and they could headline, no doubt, but touring an album they're probably sub level now.

I dunno, I've never seen them live, I only became a fan about a year or so ago but now they're probably one of my favourite (before then I was listening to complete shit), but watching some of their live videos they do look pretty breathtaking:

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I think that The Strokes are a lot better than Arctic Monkeys, but I think the spark has gone for them. Comedown Machine didn't receive that much hype and I think they're a bit irrelevant these days. Shame, because I love them.

True, but so did Primal Scream and they wouldn't get anywhere near that slot at R&L.

Yeah, I agree, I did think CM was a very good album (still probably their joint worst with first impressions...)

Hopefully, Julian and Albert will do a bit of solo stuff and then they'll reform and make truly amazing music again (and headline reading...)
