I don't see The Vaccines headlining next year at all. It's only one o2 arena show, subbing is definitely possible but I think it'd be cool if they did a Bloc Party stye thing and while I would've been fine with them, make the unexpected decision not to have them.

They are touring this album and their own gigs, Glastonbury, RockNess and V. probably some places I have missed out, is it still going to be relevant by next august?

The current album came out like last September didn't it? I'm thinking they'll either have a new album our or be readying one for release later in the year, so will be doing festivals to promote that.

I'm not sure when dude, but apart from two-ish songs, I thought they really went down hill from the 1st one. That's probably cause I liked the whole catchy poppy indie taste of the band that only lasts that one album haha. I think if they do being another one out that quick and continue like it, they'll sell out much like TBK have started to and that chance of ever headlining will fade.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it did, because I know I had a leak of it before Leeds. The only song I properly liked was I Always Knew (I think that's what it's called), and I thought Teenage Icon and No Hope were alright. Not listened to it at all since Leeds.

I enjoyed their first album, but neither of their albums display the quality of a headline band. I've also found them incredibly boring both times I've seen them.

They are catchy and not much more than that now I think. Still seeing them at Glastonbury again but after I doubt I'll bother unless the new record is decent.

I've seen The Vaccines three times; the first time I saw them was opening the NME Awards Tour in 2011 at Brixton where I enjoyed them, the second was at Reading 2012 where they were very disappointing however the last time I saw them they were supporting Muse at the War Child gig at Shepherd's Bush and they were incredibly energetic, very tight and just looked like they were having a great time. If they can keep up the way they performed at Shepherd's Bush then they could definitely pull off a sub slot.

I think they've gone for a good tactical approach this year, playing one or two major festivals and playing many other smaller ones where they headlining.

I think next year they will play Reading, & T only.

they will sub both, and it'l be exclusive slots I bet.

If not then they will have a years gap with a new album, and headline reading in 2016 on exclusive.

In fairness, I would be if i was asked to support Muse haha
