You not seen The White Stripes or Mazzy star? You damn fool!!

Opportunity since getting into them.

If you guys miss a band at a festival before you really know about them, and get into that band later on; do you regret missing them? Or write it off as you wouldn't have enjoyed it as much anyway?

Neither really. If they're a band I've really got into later then I'm sure I would have enjoyed the show regardless of familiarity with songs, but regret is a bit pointless, particularly when your decision at the time was an informed one. I think the only time it'd be regret would be if it were say, a band that had been playing while I was watching Paramore pointlessly so I could be at front for The Cure - when there was absolutely no need to given the exodus after.

Maybe they'd headline the dance tent against a weaker headliner like Blink? I'm struggling to think of Dance Stage headliners really besides the possibility of Garrix or DJ Fresh

FAR too big for the dance tent now. it was ridiculous that they were allowed to headline the NME in 2010 - wasn't there (was at Arcade Fire with the other smart people) but i've heard that it was incredibly dangerous in there with the sides of the tents having to be cut to allow people out at one point. they should've been subbing that year, not squeezed into a tent

They are wayyy too big to headline the dance tent. They rammed the NME in 2010 so i'd argue could even be too big for NME. Also, why would they headline against a weaker headliner? That would make it even more dangerous than it already otherwise would be.

They did against arcade fire though, who were the smallest headliner that year.

Saying that, yes they would sub and yes no tent would be safe

Well they'd sub now. I think they've got a case to headline next time they play. New material, headlined other UK festivals, hiatus, crossover appeal, stuff like that.

It'd be appalling but I could absolutely see it.

It would have been a more interesting booking than Blink.
