Did they play Time of Your Life at Leeds? Ended with it at Reading and it was a nice highlight in an otherwise bucket of average shit.

Saw them at Emirates too, where I thought they were superb (being the first time I'd seen them live) - maybe the novelty had already worn off by the time Reading & Leeds came around.

Emirates was fantastic. Brixton was very very good. Reading was decent

Doesn't really matter if it's good enough - if they're doing full album shows of that only a couple of years since releasing and promoting that, it's pretty poor.

The crowd was so dead for Green Day at Reading. Really disappointing considering how great they were in the tent the year before

I only went to Green Day after Sub Focus finished (who was great btw) and still thought they dragged on a bit.

i used to love The Blackout (stopped listening after The Best In Town, actually) but it just seems very odd that they'd do that album in full (although looking at recent setlists, they've been playing 8 songs from it anyway)

full album shows seem to be happening a lot these days (i know Brand New did an album a night in America and it's rumoured that it's also what they'll be doing on their UK tour)

just think, if it's gonna be done, it should be for a real occasion - anniversary of the album, or at least for a really fucking good album, not just that album a band did that was a tiny bit better than their other mediocre albums

It wasn't just an album show, they played 2 nights and between the nights they played every song they've ever wrote

When are people on reading/glastonbury/download ANY festivals facebook pages going to realise that they don't actually have to go to any of these festivals.

If you don't like the lineup. no one's forcing you to go. You have no entitlement to whine at all! If you want heavier bands and less dance acts, go to different festival. If you don't like Arcade Fire but like Metallica, go to sonisphere.

I honestly get so angry at these comments due to their blinding stupidity, as if someone has the nerve to put.

"Sonisphere have Metallica and glasto have Arcade Fire? Wow, what a disappointment glastonbury".

If you desperately want to see metallica, put your ticket back in the pot and go to sonisphere, it's easy. Why why why do they continue to post stupid comments slating the festival when they have no one even pushing them to go :')

End rant, sorry but reading's (and other festival) facebook pages right now is giving me terminal illnesses.

People like to bitch and complain all the time, what do you expect. It is still a bit annoying. I tell what annoys me when people say they aren't going to R&L this year based of those 7 acts and nothing more....

They hadn't been on the road for very long though had they? Standard US tour and then a pretty short european tour + the gap between the last date of the euro tour and Reading and Leeds was about a month so his voice should have been fine.

His voice wasn't much better at Emirates tbd. Still good in my opinion but not awesome as some are suggesting.
