dentalplan
1. Tom DeLonghi was pretending to be drunk lol I'd hate that. Two acts I'm 100% apathetic about and would just be there for early material. Arctics' early material is actually the worst thing about their set, in my opinion. They really seem like they can't be arsed with it. Edited December 24, 2013 by dentalplan
Andre91
Just watching blinks set in 2010... Is this tom guy absoulutely smashed? Why are people praising this booking? This looks horrid. Yes he was smashed. He's been sober on tour for a few years now though and their performances have improved.

I was probably (definitely) a bit harsh on its release likewise! i remember savaging it when it first leaked, but now i think it's probably the best thing they've ever done. not perfect, but a really really good album. i think with maybe another album or two (and tour) they'll be able to drop the first album material completely

R U Mine, DIWK, Aarabella and Mad Sounds are probably my favourite four they've ever done too. I think it'll be better if they did, left it to just being 1 or 2 per show like Biffy do, makes them a lot more special
dentalplan
I Want It All is my favourite on the album. Right stomper. Why does this keep happening?
Ipayne
Yeah I ripped into AM abit to my mates when it came out but after seeing most of the songs played live I've grown to like it alot more as some of the older songs came across half arsed unlike the stuff off AM

They played Stress on the Sky and All the Way Down that night though so I can't complain really.

kaosmark2
I think AM is probably their second best album, but I still prefer Whatever... Won't be bothering with their next album, looks like the pattern is for every alternating album to be worth listening to

I do as well but it's definitely more special catching the odd oldie, than it would be if they played loads at every gig. I really wanna see All the Way Down, Toys Toys Toys and Christopher's River though especially

A few unexpected like: 27, Hope For an Angel, Liberate the Illiterate and Strung to Your Ribcage. It was heaven
kaosmark2
Questions and Answers being cut short due to the crowd being completely unappreciative of it is the main memory I take away from Biffy at Reading this year. Pissed me right off.
Ipayne
To be honest I'm surprised Questions & Answers is a rarity, would've thought it would take a place in most sets like

It was heaven Sad I didn't get to see them until this year I was really happy with the R&L setlist though, 57 and Folding Stars were what I really wanted to see in that set Questions and Answers being cut short due to the crowd being completely unappreciative of it is the main memory I take away from Biffy at Reading this year. Pissed me right off. They only did the first verse & chorus at Leeds too, sucked because all the people around me seemed to know the words. There was this one girl next to me who'd been there throughout NIN as well and knew everything, made both sets a lot better for me. God bless you girl, whoever you were. FloorFiller
haven't seen Biffy live in ages (Leeds '10 was the last time i think?) but i really hated from Puzzle onwards how their setlists would be dominated almost entirely by whatever album they were touring behind (especially the Only Revolutions tour. christ did they milk that album for all it was worth)
robMUFC96
Biffy could do any of the first 4 albums in full imo, maybe after 1 more album they'll feel they couldn't grow much more and just play older stuff

Wouldn't say Pablo honey is shit with tracks like lurgee, anyone can play guitar and creep on it. Just a typical first album.
